More football glory for Connexions Oldham Positive Steps Oldham’s athletic employees continued their grip on the national Connexions 5-a-side football tournament by bringing home the trophy for the third time in 5 years this weekend.

Positive Steps for Oldhams School Leavers An analysis into the destinations of Year 11 pupils in 2007 has shown record numbers of students in the borough are leaving school and finding themselves in the positive situation of being in education, training or employment.

Pupils get a taste of recruitment A group of year 11’s were given an insight into the job recruitment process at Kaskenmoor school this week when they were interviewed by two Directors from Positive Steps Oldham. The role was ‘exhibition support worker’ for Connexions annual Your Choice Exhibition.
Keep cool at exam results time Around the country today people will be opening their exam results in anticipation, some will be celebrating, and some may not have done quite as well as they had hoped.
